Furniture restoration
Motto
Old furniture tells a story, it is a witness to an era and should not simply be disposed of. Let's transform them into a cultural asset and breathe new life into them.
We are the kind of people who honor and appreciate old things and don't like to throw them away. I share the hobby of restoring furniture with my wife. On a course, she learned how to freshen up old, shabby furniture and give it a new lease of life in the style of shabby chic. In this type of restoration, the age of the objects to be restored is consciously exploited, the signs of use of the furniture become visible and soft, faded-looking colors in a natural style are used.
I design old furniture with acrylic paint, which is poured on in liquid form. I also use this technique for abstract paintings and it is known as "pouring". Fascinating marble effects are created through the merging of colors. As the paint is not applied with a brush or palette knife, the result can never be predicted or influenced exactly.
We actually do the same as Benetton in the fashion industry. The customers bring charisma and shape and Benetton then contributes to the overall success with the color.
