Photography has been my passion since 1980. Through the lens, I have learned to look at the world with a sharper eye. My hobby allows me to capture the beauty of nature and life and share it with others. Be inspired by my pictures and discover the world from a new perspective.

Furniture restoration

We value and honor old things and don't like to throw away intact objects. Together with my wife, I dedicate myself to restoring furniture in the shabby chic style, where we breathe new life into old furniture. I use acrylic paints and the pouring technique to create fascinating marble effects that give each piece a unique look.

Werner Nussbaum alias -Wümi-

People have called me Wümi since I was three years old. I don't know where this nickname comes from, but I use it for the signature of my paintings.

I was born on 11.11.1959 in Zurich and grew up in Widen. I live there again today, after a few detours to Villmergen and Shenorock, NY, USA. My job has taken me out into the wide world, broadened my horizons and allowed me to appreciate beauty. I have met many wonderful people on my journey through life and am grateful for everything that has strengthened my positive outlook on life.

Now I enjoy my free time and use it for my numerous hobbies. In addition to sport (including handball and hiking), I relax by painting pictures, enjoy traveling and taking photos, and occasionally refurbish old furniture.
